DIY Doll Hair Bow

Bows are super cute and look adorable on dolls so,here is a super cute and easy way to make hair bows for your dolls!

Kiley looks so cute!!

You will need:
Ribbon
Hot glue
Scissors
Aligator clips(or any kind of hair clip)

Start by taking any color ribbon of your choice(sorry about the weird color of the ribbon.It was the biggest solid color ribbon I had) and cutting any length you want. So,if you want your bow 3 inches wide, you want a 6 inch piece of ribbon. Take you hot glue and run a line of it down the middle of your ribbon and fold your end into the center.(like in the picture above)Then do the same thing for the other side.(Put a line of glue onto or next to the edge of the ribbon you already folded)

The easiest way to explain the next step is to explain it as a accordion fold. You take your bow and fold up about 1/3 and secure with glue.Then flip the bow around and fold down another 1/3. Then flip the bow over again and fold another 1/3 of the bow and glue. You can see how I did it from the picture. Like I said, it is just a accordion fold.

Next just take about a 1 inch piece of ribbon and either 1.Fold one edge of your ribbon and glue it in the center (Ribbon on the Left) and then fold the other side over the first on you folded over and glue it  and 2. Just fold over part of the ribbon and glue it.

Then glue the end of your ribbon to the side of your bow and then wrap the ribbon around the center of the bow. Then take you alligator clip and and place it on the bottom of your bow upside down and open it up, and put glue on the ribbon you wrapped around your bow and glue it in between the alligator clip and then glue the ribbon to the other side of the bow and cut off the excess.(You can see how I did it in the picture above)
